Digital forensics is the science and practice of preserving, extracting and analyzing digital evidence to support formal legal actions. What does that mean? It means helping to put away criminals who use computers and other digital high tech to commit their crimes. The evidentiary nature of digital forensic science requires rigorous standards to stand up to cross examination in court. LMI will validate the digital information for the purpose of presenting it, in logical order to authorities.
